Leads and CRM Planned

Zoho CRM leads from MotorHangar

Zoho CRM has a Leads module of its own, which maps naturally to a buyer's first message. The plan is to create a Zoho lead for each MotorHangar conversation, with the car in its description, and keep its status in step as you move the conversation through your MotorHangar lead stages. It is planned, not built yet.

What you can do today

  • n8n has a Zoho CRM node: connect it after the MotorHangar Trigger's New Lead event.
  • In Make, read GET /leads?since= with the HTTP module and create each lead with Make's Zoho CRM app.

How it would work

  1. You would authorise MotorHangar in your Zoho account, in your own data centre.

  2. Each new conversation creates a Zoho lead with the car, its price and the link to reply.

  3. Changing a lead's stage in MotorHangar updates its status in Zoho.

What it will do

  • Leads, with the car in the description
  • Lead status, from your MotorHangar lead stages

Limitations

  • Not built yet.
  • Zoho runs separate data centres, and each account would connect to its own.
  • No buyer email or phone in the lead.

Questions about Zoho CRM

Does it matter which Zoho data centre I'm on?

Yes. Zoho accounts live in separate regions (zoho.com, zoho.eu, zoho.in and others), and an integration has to talk to yours. The connector would ask which one when you authorise it.

Would it create a lead or a contact?

A Zoho lead, because a buyer asking about a car hasn't qualified yet. Converting it to a contact and a deal stays your team's decision, in Zoho.

Can I sync my car stock from Zoho Inventory?

That isn't planned. This integration is about leads; for your stock, use the spreadsheet import, the API or a store connector.
