Salesforce integration for dealer groups
Dealer groups that run on Salesforce usually have an admin and their own objects for vehicles and opportunities. Instead of forcing a fixed shape, the plan is a connector that creates Leads or Opportunities and maps the car to the fields your org already uses. It is planned, not built yet.
What you can do today
- Your Salesforce admin or partner can call our API directly: GET /leads?since= on a schedule, built from our OpenAPI 3 spec.
- Each dealership in the group uses its own API key, so the leads never mix.
How it would work
You would connect a Salesforce integration user through OAuth.
You map a MotorHangar lead to a Lead or an Opportunity, and the car to your vehicle fields or object.
You choose which dealerships of the group feed which records.

Limitations
- Not built yet.
- Every Salesforce org is customised, so the first version would need a mapping step, not a fixed schema.
- One direction only, from MotorHangar to Salesforce.
Questions about Salesforce
We have many dealerships. How would that work?
Each dealership has its own MotorHangar account and API key. The connector would map each one to its records in your org, so the group sees every lead without mixing them.
Is there a MotorHangar package on AppExchange?
No. Nothing for Salesforce is built yet, and there is no AppExchange listing.
Can our Salesforce team integrate it themselves now?
Yes. The API is documented at /developers/ and published as OpenAPI 3: leads are read with GET /leads, and cars are managed with the vehicle endpoints.
