Send MotorHangar car leads to HubSpot
For dealers whose sales team lives in HubSpot, the plan is that every buyer who writes to you on MotorHangar becomes a deal in your pipeline, with the car they asked about attached, so nobody copies leads from one tab to another. It is planned, not built yet, but our API and n8n can already do most of it.
What you can do today
- In n8n, the MotorHangar Trigger's New Lead event followed by the HubSpot node creates a deal for each new conversation, with the link to reply in MotorHangar.
- In Make, call GET /leads?since= with the HTTP module every few minutes and create a HubSpot deal for each new lead.
How it would work
You would connect your HubSpot account from the dealer panel.
Each new conversation creates a deal in the pipeline and stage you choose.
The deal carries the car: its name, asking price, stock number and the link to the listing.
A buyer's own contact details would travel to HubSpot only if they agreed to share them.
What it will do
- New conversations, as deals with the car attached
- The asking price and the listing link on each deal
- Stage changes you make in your MotorHangar leads
Limitations
- Not built yet.
- A lead from our API carries the conversation and the car, not the buyer's email or phone: buyers talk to you through MotorHangar's chat.
- One direction only: changes made in HubSpot won't update MotorHangar.
Questions about HubSpot
Can I get MotorHangar leads into HubSpot today?
Yes, with an automation tool. The n8n MotorHangar Trigger emits each new lead, and the HubSpot node can create a deal from it with the link to the conversation.
Why doesn't the lead include the buyer's email?
Buyers write to you through MotorHangar's chat and haven't agreed to have their contact details sent elsewhere. A lead carries the conversation, the car and a link to reply.
Would it need a paid HubSpot plan?
The plan is to use only standard contacts and deals, which HubSpot's free CRM includes, so no paid HubSpot feature should be needed.
