Odoo inventory integration for car dealers
Dealers who run their business on Odoo already track every vehicle there: purchase, cost, location, sale. An Odoo integration would publish the cars you mark for sale on MotorHangar and mark them as sold when Odoo does. It is planned, not built yet.
What you can do today
- n8n has an Odoo node: read your vehicles from Odoo and pass them to the MotorHangar node's Sync operation on a schedule.
- Or export the products to a spreadsheet and upload it in Import inventory.
How it would work
You would connect an Odoo user that can read products, through Odoo's external API.
You choose the product category that holds the vehicles for sale.
Odoo fields — product attributes or your own custom fields — are mapped to brand, model, year and mileage.
Updates run on a schedule, with a full reconciliation and the same mass-sold guard as the API.

- Product images
- Sold or archived vehicles
Limitations
- Not built yet.
- Odoo installations differ a lot (Community, Enterprise, Odoo.sh, custom modules). The first version would target the standard product model and map your custom fields, not assume them.

Which Odoo editions would it support?
The plan is to use Odoo's standard external API, which both Community and Enterprise expose. Fields from your own modules would be mapped, not assumed.
Can I connect Odoo to MotorHangar today?
Yes, with n8n: its Odoo node reads your products and the MotorHangar node sends them as one stock list, on whatever schedule you set.
Would MotorHangar write sales back into Odoo?
No. Every integration we build goes one way, from your system to MotorHangar, so Odoo stays your source of truth.
