Connect your dealer management system (DMS) to MotorHangar
Every dealer management system stores stock differently, and many can export it as a file. Rather than guess, we are collecting which DMS dealers use and whether it can export: the answer decides whether your DMS is covered by the scheduled feed or needs a connector of its own. Nothing is built for a specific DMS yet.
What you can do today
- Export the stock from your DMS and upload it in Import inventory. Save the column layout in your DMS so the export is the same every time.
- If your DMS or web provider can call an API, give them our OpenAPI spec: PUT /vehicles/{id} for each car, or POST /vehicles/sync for the whole stock.
How it would work
Tell us the name of your DMS in the form below.
If it can publish a CSV or XLSX export at an address, the scheduled feed will cover it.
If it exports XML, we need one real sample file to map it, never a guessed schema.
If it has an API of its own, a direct connector becomes possible once enough dealers ask for that DMS.
What it will do
- Stock number, brand, model, year, version and mileage
- Price and currency
- Photos, from public URLs
- Sold and withdrawn cars
Limitations
- No connector for a specific DMS exists yet.
- We will not invent a mapping: every field has to come from your DMS's own export.
Questions about Dealer management system (DMS)
Which DMS do you support?
None directly yet. Any DMS that exports a spreadsheet works today through the import, and any system that can make HTTP calls works through the API.
My DMS exports XML. Is that enough?
It will be once we have a real sample. Each DMS writes its XML its own way, so tell us its name in the form and we'll ask you for an export without customer data.
Who has to build the connection, me or you?
For the import, and the future feed, nobody: you give us a file. For the API, whoever runs your website or DMS can integrate it from the documentation at /developers/.
Get an email when it's built
We build integrations in the order dealers ask for them. Leave your email and we'll write once, when this one is ready.
One email per integration, when it's ready. No newsletter, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
Product names belong to their owners. MotorHangar is not affiliated with or endorsed by them, and none of these integrations is listed in their app stores or marketplaces.
