   The new owner must apply to a Gosavtoinspektsiya registration office within 10 days of acquiring the car, so the registration data shows the new owner.

   The seller can find out whether the car is still registered to them by visiting any Gosavtoinspektsiya registration office with an identity document.

5. If not, end the registration yourself after 10 days Recomendado

   If the new owner has not registered the car within 10 days, the seller can apply to have the registration ended, with an identity document and the sale contract, as long as the car has not been registered to the new owner. The application can also be filed on Gosuslugi with the contract attached, without visiting an office.

6. Declare the income if you owned the car under 3 years Requerido por ley

   For property other than real estate, such as a car, the minimum ownership period is 3 years. If you sell sooner, the income is taxable and is normally declared on form 3-NDFL after the end of the year. It can be reduced by a deduction of up to 250,000 rubles, or by documented purchase costs instead.
