Vende tu auto en Puerto Rico

In Puerto Rico ownership is transferred by signing the transfer section of the Certificate of Title and registering the transfer (traspaso) with DTOP at a CESCO, either in person or through the CESCO Digital app. The buyer then collects a new title in their name. Publicar en MotorHangar es gratis y toma unos tres minutos; no necesitas la documentación para publicar.

Paso a paso

  1. Pay off any lien and get a payoff letter Requerido por ley

If the car has a conditional-sale lien (gravamen mobiliario), bring a payoff letter (carta de saldo) with a USD 5 internal revenue voucher; it is free if the lien was recorded after 13 January 2013. CESCO Digital transfers require the car to have no liens and be fully paid.
