1. Check registration, restrictions and inspection Obrigatório por lei

   The vehicle registration (mulkiya) must be valid, the car must keep its number plate, neither party's record may have restrictions that block an electronic transfer under the Traffic Law, and the vehicle must have passed the technical inspection where one applies.

2. Transfer the insurance with an approved insurer Obrigatório por lei Comprador

   The vehicle must be insured with an ROP-approved insurance company and the insurance transfer completed before the ownership transfer.

3. Seller submits and signs the transfer online Obrigatório por lei

   On the ROP website or app, the seller chooses vehicle transfer, confirms the new owner's identity and signs with a digital signature (PKI) or authorises someone to sign. With card-reader authentication, the seller needs an active phone number registered in the Civil Status system to receive the OTP.

4. Buyer approves and pays within 24 hours Obrigatório por lei Comprador

   The buyer authenticates, approves the transaction and pays the fee online within 24 hours; otherwise it is cancelled and the seller must start again.

   RO 5 keeping the number plate (RO 13 / RO 15 if a new medium / large plate is issued)
