Venda seu carro em Malásia

Ownership transfer (tukar hak milik) is registered by the Road Transport Department (JPJ), and both the registered owner and the buyer must verify their fingerprints biometrically. Private cars must first pass an ownership-transfer inspection (MV15, formerly B5) at PUSPAKOM or another licensed inspection centre. Publicar no MotorHangar é gratuito e leva cerca de três minutos; você não precisa dos documentos para publicar.

Passo a passo

  1. Check the car has no loan, summons or block Obrigatório por lei Vendedor e comprador

JPJ will not process the transfer if there is an outstanding hire-purchase claim, an unresolved customs record or a blacklist. The MyGovernment portal suggests checking summonses, restrictions and loans through MyJPJ or MyEG before the sale.

Private cars (not motorcycles) must pass an inspection at an appointed motor vehicle inspection centre (PUSPAKOM or a recognised PPKM) before the transfer. The MV15 report is valid for 120 days since 1 July 2026.

Fique seguro quando compradores entrarem em contato com você

  • In 2026 JPJ investigated complaints of vehicles being transferred without the registered owner's knowledge and briefly suspended online transfers; never share your MyJPJ/mySIKAP login and check your vehicle's ownership status after the sale.
  • Foreign nationals cannot transfer online and must go to a JPJ counter.
