2. Seller starts the transfer in the Sahel app Recomendado

   In Sahel go to Services > Ministry of Interior > Traffic Services > Transfer of Vehicle Ownership, create a new request, choose the vehicle and enter the buyer's civil ID number.

3. Buyer approves and pays the insurance transfer Recomendado Comprador

   The buyer receives a notice in Sahel, reviews and approves the request, pays the insurance transfer fees and notifies the seller.

4. Seller confirms payment and pays the ownership transfer fee Recomendado

   The seller confirms the buyer's payment was received and pays the ownership transfer fee, which sends a notice to the buyer.

5. Buyer downloads the new electronic vehicle licence Recomendado Comprador

   The buyer opens the notice and downloads the new electronic vehicle licence (daftar) into the digital wallet of the Kuwait Mobile ID app.

6. Or: do the transfer in person at the General Traffic Department Recomendado Vendedor y comprador

   Instead of Sahel, seller and buyer attend the relevant section of the General Traffic Department in the seller's governorate, submit the documents, fill in the application form and pay the fee. The owner can be represented by someone holding a general power of attorney.
