Show your TikTok car videos on your MotorHangar listings
If you already film walkarounds for TikTok, those videos sell cars. The plan is simple: paste the TikTok link of a car's video on its MotorHangar listing, and the listing shows TikTok's official embed. Nothing is downloaded or re-uploaded. It is planned, not built yet.
What you can do today
- Put your MotorHangar dealer page in your TikTok bio, so viewers who like a car find it with its specs and price.
- Add more photos to each listing, up to 10: the dashboard with the mileage, the seats and the engine are what buyers look for.
How it would work
You paste the video's TikTok URL on the listing.
The listing shows its thumbnail. TikTok's player loads only when a buyer taps it, so the page stays fast and no TikTok cookies are set before that.
The video stays on TikTok, under your account, with its views.
What it will do
- TikTok's official embed on the listing
- Only tiktok.com links are accepted
Limitations
- Not built yet.
- No automatic import from your TikTok account: you choose the video for each car.
- We will not generate videos from your photos.
Questions about TikTok
Will MotorHangar post to my TikTok account?
No. It would only show a video you already published, using TikTok's official embed. We never post, download or re-host anything.
Why not load the TikTok player straight away?
TikTok's script is heavy and sets cookies. Loading it only when a buyer taps the thumbnail keeps every listing fast, and private for people who don't watch.
Do I need a TikTok business account?
No. The official embed works with any public video, so a normal account is enough.
