Vende tu auto en Argentina

In Argentina the sale is completed by registering the transfer of ownership (transferencia de dominio) at the Registro Seccional of the DNRPA, with both parties signing the Formulario 08. If the buyer and seller do not complete the transfer together, the seller should file a sale report (denuncia de venta) to shed liability for the car. Publicar en MotorHangar es gratis y toma unos tres minutos; no necesitas la documentación para publicar.

Paso a paso

  1. Check the car's registry status Recomendado Vendedor y comprador

Not mandatory but recommended: request an informe de dominio to see whether the car has liens, court restrictions or theft reports. Alternatively, the seller (only the owner can) can obtain a certificado de dominio for the buyer.

Take the car to an authorized police verification plant to confirm engine and chassis numbers match the documents. It is mandatory before registering the transfer of cars first registered from 1 January 2001, when the title is missing, or when the transfer is filed at a different registry.

  5. File a sale report if the transfer is not done jointly Recomendado

If you hand over the car without completing the transfer at the registry with the buyer, file a denuncia de venta (online or in person) at the registry where the car is registered.
