   Agree on the price, the payment method and who pays the state fees. Payments over 300,000 AMD must be made electronically, e.g. a bank transfer from the buyer to the seller's account.

2. Transfer ownership online with YesEm Recomendado Vendedor y comprador

   The seller logs in to the Ministry's platform, creates the sale application with the price and sends it to the buyer; the buyer pays the fees and signs the electronic contract, then the seller signs and ownership transfers. Both parties need YesEm mobile identification and a driver's license, and the car must have a regular or preferred plate, which stays on the car.

3. Or book a visit to a Records and Examination Division Recomendado Vendedor y comprador

   Instead of the online route, book an appointment and attend with the documents; the sale contract can be signed there and the car is deregistered from the seller and registered to the buyer at the same time. A written contract is recommended even when not strictly required.

4. Pay outstanding property tax and the resale duty Requerido por ley

   Any unpaid property tax on the car is flagged and must be paid. If an individual sells within 365 days of registering ownership, the seller must also pay the state duty for registering the termination of ownership (on the online platform: horsepower x 150 AMD).

5. Sort out the number plates Requerido por ley Vendedor y comprador

   In the in-person route the seller hands over the clean old plate at the License Plate Department; the buyer either gets a new regular plate or pays to keep the existing one as a personalized plate.

6. Notify your insurer; the buyer insures the car Requerido por ley Vendedor y comprador

   After the sale the seller should tell the insurer about the transfer so their liability ends, and the buyer must insure the car before driving it.
