Vende tu auto en Israel

The Ministry of Transport and Road Safety's Licensing Authority registers the change of owner. Seller and buyer must record the transfer within 15 days of the sale, online in the government Personal Area or at a post office branch linked to the Licensing Bureau. Until then the car stays in the seller's name. Publicar en MotorHangar es gratis y toma unos tres minutos; no necesitas la documentación para publicar.

Paso a paso

  1. Check the car for pledges and liens Recomendado Comprador

Before paying, the buyer should check the Registrar of Pledges at the Ministry of Justice. Not every lien shows up in the Ministry of Transport system, and the post office may let a transfer go through even when there is one. Checking is the buyer's responsibility.

The duty to register the change of ownership falls on the seller. Until the transfer is done, tickets, fines and attachments keep going to the registered owner. Mantente seguro cuando los compradores se pongan en contacto contigo

  • Be careful with a seller who has owned the car for only days or weeks, who gives only a mobile number, or who will only deal by phone. If in doubt, ask the seller to come with you to the Licensing Bureau. Refusal can be a warning sign.
  • If the bill of sale does not match the seller's vehicle licence, the licence may be fake.
  • Post office staff do not check or compare vehicle data. Confirm restrictions yourself with the Licensing Bureau and the Registrar of Pledges.
  • If the car is linked to a disabled parking permit, the reduced licence fee must be cancelled and the difference paid before the sale.
